LCV Technician – Highbridge Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:30 (37.5 hours per week after 30-minute unpaid break) Every other Saturday – 5 hours paid at 1.5x overtime rate Full time, permanent Earning Potential – Salary: £19.23 per hour Annual basic salary: £37,498.50 (based on 37.5 hours per week) Overtime paid at 1.5x (£28.85 per hour) Realistic OTE including every other Saturday overtime: £40,000 – £41,500 Overview We're looking for an LCV Technician to join an award-winning commercial vehicle specialist in Highbridge. This is a proper workshop role with standard hours, every other Saturday paid at overtime, and a great team environment. Key Responsibilities Performing major and minor repairs to light commercial vehicles Regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards Maintaining workshop inventory and cleanliness Working with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs Completing job cards and service records accurately What You'll Need Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) – essential Proven experience as an LCV Technician or Light Vehicle Technician Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA Standards Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Full, current UK driving licence You'll be a great fit if you're methodical, take pride in your work, and want a stable role with a nationally recognised, high-retention employer that invests in its people.
