Overview
We're looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join an award-winning team in Gloucester. Our client has been named Motor Trader's 'Employer of the Year' and is an official Great Place to Work™. If you're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and can confidently maximise service and repair bookings to ensure all resources are available and on schedule, this is the role for you. You'll approach this role with a commercial mindset, actively selling after-sales services and ensuring the workshop runs at full capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with customers and ensure satisfaction throughout their journey
- Utilise workshop loading and keep it up to date
- Proactively keep customers updated on vehicle progress
- Book vehicles in, ensuring appointments suit both customer and workshop capacity
- Identify customer requirements and provide accurate, fully inclusive costings
- Produce accurate job cards, invoices, estimates, and related documentation
- Provide full explanations of work carried out, maximising additional selling opportunities
- Produce warranty job cards in line with manufacturer policies and procedures
- Accurately record work requirements and identify repair types
- Liaise with Parts Department to ensure parts availability
What You'll Need
- Previous working experience in administration and/or office environments
- Strong communication skills – this role is pivotal in keeping all stakeholders informed
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferable
- Kerridge knowledge is preferable
- Organised, professional, and customer-focused approach
