About the Company:

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Foreman to lead their workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and workshop-related queries
- Coordinate workshop loading and job allocation based on skills, availability, and priority
- Provide hands-on technical support and leadership to engineers
- Ensure service documentation and Truck File records are accurate and compliant
- Carry out quality checks on completed work and service records
- Monitor parts usage and control costs
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed
- Complete reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time
- Manage staff attendance, holidays, appraisals, discipline, and absence
- Coach and mentor team leaders to meet service level agreements
- Ensure GDPR compliance and regulatory standards are maintained
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Workshop Foreman or supervisory role
- Hands-on technical background in vehicle servicing and repairs
- Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent β commercial vehicles preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- PCV/HGV Licence (highly desirable)
- Advanced diagnostics knowledge and DVSA standards awareness (desirable)
