My client, a well-established company, is actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified LCV Technician for their depot in Derby within the role of Mobile LCV Technician. You will be working on an internal mixed fleet of commercial vehicles from Mercedes, Iveco and Ford both in the depot and at various customer sites. Excellent internal training with opportunities to increase salary by £2 per hour when gaining Master Technician status by completing 5 internal training modules - once 1-3 completed increase salary by £1 per hour then once 4 & 5 completed receive another £1 per hour increase.
Mobile LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties:
- Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and specialist commercial vehicles
- Working with industry-leading brands such as Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring roadworthiness
- Working as part of a supportive and experienced team in a well-equipped workshop
Mobile LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Qualifications / experience required:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Hands-on experience working with LCVs or HGVs in a workshop or fleet environment
- Experience and comfortable working on a range of vans
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance
- IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Any mobile experience would be beneficial
