Overview

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a commercial vehicle dealership at their state-of-the-art depot in Ballyclare. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to work in a modern workshop, undertake all levels of maintenance and repairs, and benefit from industry-leading training and clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an HGV Technician, you will undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on heavy goods vehicles.
  • Complete standard servicing, diagnostics, and follow the repair process from fault analysis to completion as a professional HGV Technician.
  • Work efficiently in a busy workshop environment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate job cards and documentation, supporting workshop efficiency and quality.

What You’ll Need

  • Apprentice-trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a fleet or dealership environment.
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (C+E / Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential).
