Seeking an experienced Crane Engineer to join our technical service team delivering maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and breakdown support for cranes and lifting equipment. You’ll work on a mix of overhead cranes, crawler cranes, hoists and other lifting systems, ensuring safety, reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs on crane systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults to restoration standard.
- Perform statutory inspections and duties in accordance with LOLER/PUWER regulations.
- Complete service reports, documentation and compliance paperwork.
- Attend client sites.
- Represent the company professionally on site and maintain high safety standards.
What You’ll Need!
- Proven experience as a crane engineer, field service engineer, mobile engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills.
- Relevant engineering qualifications — e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of statutory requirements, safety standards and industry best practice.
