Role Overview
Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling new and used Agricultural machinery and associated equipment within a designated sales area. This is a field‑based role involving regular customer visits and relationship management. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving sales performance and delivering excellent customer service across the dealership's portfolio of leading Agricultural brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage machinery sales within your defined territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and upselling potential
- Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently present and demonstrate equipment
- Ensure machinery is delivered to customers in line with brand standards and company processes
- Represent the business at agricultural shows, demos, and other customer-focused events
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers
- Consistently meet or exceed sales performance targets set by your line manager
- Maintain accurate records and manage your sales administration efficiently
Essential Skills & Experience
- Sound knowledge of the Agricultural industry, machinery, and seasonal customer demands
- Previous experience in sales, service, or parts within the agricultural or related sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone
- Target‑driven with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to close deals
- Self‑motivated, well‑organised, and capable of working independently
- Confident demonstrating machinery and presenting technical information clearly
- Full UK driving licence required
