They are seeking a skilled Mechanic with a strong background in HGV repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles and trailers are operating safely.
About your new HGV Technician role
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including vehicle inspections, MOT test preparation, brake repairs, and service work.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
The successful HGV Technician will require
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV and trailers.
