Overview

Position: Coachbuilder / Body Fitter

Salary: £30,075 – £35,000 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Overtime: Available & Optional

Location: Derby

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Coachbuilder / Body Fitter to join our client\’s dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Body Repair, Panel Beating and Accident Repair
  • Experience working with commercial vehicles, especially PSV is an advantage
  • Car driving licence

Main Duties

  • Routine vehicle body work inspections and repairs
  • Carry out accident damage repairs
  • Panel beating
  • Marking out, cutting and forming sheet metal, pillar section, plywood, hardboard, glass fibre panels, preparatory to fitting on a vehicle
  • Cutting apertures and fitting windows
