We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a busy truck and van dealership in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a great team as part of a growing business group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the central point of contact for customers within the busy service department
- Providing relevant, accurate and timely information throughout the service process
- Maximising service and parts profitability through professional upselling of identified defects
- Loading the workshop schedule to maximise capacity and utilisation
- Dealing with customer needs over the phone and face-to-face with a professional and friendly approach
- Carrying out daily update calls to customers on vehicle progress
- Gaining authorisation for work required
- Building rapport with all staff and customers
The Candidate:
- Previous experience within a service advisor role, ideally within the truck or van sector
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and administration abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who can also work on own initiative
The Benefits:
- Competitive salary 30,000 - 35,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday working week (8am - 5pm)
