A thriving commercial vehicle dealership in the Luton area is expanding following new customer contract wins and is now seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy main dealer workshop.
We are ideally looking for candidates with main dealer experience, however experienced HGV Technicians with strong diagnostics skills and all-round HGV experience will also be considered.
Salary and Benefits
- Up to £21.00 per hour (dependent on skills & experience)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Excellent benefits package
- Ongoing manufacturer and personal training
Working Pattern
- 44 hours per week
- Monday to Friday rotating shifts: 06:00 - 16:00, 12:00 - 22:00
- 1 hour lunch break
- Early finish on Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and servicing on HGVs
- Work to main dealer standards
- Use computer-aided diagnostics to identify faults
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Skills & Experience Required
- HGV Technician Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven HGV workshop experience
- Strong diagnostic capability
- Full driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable)
