Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Bodybuilder to join a manufacturing team in Trafford Park. In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of the process, building, installing, and finishing high-quality commercial vehicle bodies from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
- Read engineering drawings and work orders to build and install vehicle bodies to a high standard.
- Install insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies.
- Electrically terminate lighting, switches, and tail lifts.
- Seal joints, floors, and roofs using silicone and gel coatings.
- Cut metals, woods, and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment.
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and safety in all work areas.
- Work independently and proactively to achieve timelines and quality standards.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Bodybuilder/Coachbuilder.
- An excellent understanding of the manufacturing process and a strong focus on quality.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, bench saws, and measurement equipment safely.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and professional conduct.
- Own transport or a reliable means to get to site.
