Location: Basildon
Salary: £54,700k
Shift: Monday to Friday Days – 45 hours per week

Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate

An exciting opportunity has become available working for a very well-established fleet maintenance company. Specialist training will be provided where needed to develop your existing skills to support their specialist assets.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:
As an HGV Mechanic you will undertake routine inspection & repair of internal & external customers vehicles within the workshop
Undertake commercial vehicle MOT inspections, repair, and final preparation for MOT test
Attend breakdowns, diagnose, and complete necessary repairs to a high standard
Complete all compliance paperwork associated with the repair and maintenance of the rental fleetRequirements for this HGV Technician role:
Experience from within an HGV Technician/ HGV Mechanic/ HGV Engineer role
Municipal experience including working on Refuse trucks/ RCVs is a plus
Repairs and wheel alignment
HGV Technical qualification – NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent. xiskglj
Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry
Great team player whilst also able to work on own initiative
