Service Advisor in Banbury

Service Advisor – Temporary (Maternity Cover) I am currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established commercial vehicle company based in Banbury on a temporary maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating workshop activities and ensuring the smooth running of daily service operations. Working Hours & Benefits Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Pay from £13.46 per hour. Temporary maternity cover contract. Opportunity to work for a reputable commercial vehicle company. Key Responsibilities Meet and greet customers in a professional and friendly manner. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks efficiently. Plan, schedule and coordinate workshop jobs. Create and process job cards, checking existing work in progress. Check customer account details, available credit and obtain relevant authorisations. Provide customers with regular updates on vehicle repairs and servicing. Agree timescales for additional or unscheduled work and ensure completion. Work independently, using initiative to manage daily responsibilities.Requirements Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities. Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently. Confident using computer systems and processing job cards. Experience within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry would be advantageous.
