We’re seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team at a leading commercial vehicle and trailer specialist’s bodyshop repair centre in Atherton. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic, multi-site company dedicated to excellence in vehicle repair and refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities for the Welder/Fabricator:
– Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on commercial vehicles and trailers
– Ensure all modifications, repairs and fabrications adhere to depot procedures and industry standards
– Assist in trailer rebuilds, ensuring structural integrity and safety
– Accurately complete job sheets and maintain detailed records
– Participate in preventative maintenance to prolong the lifespan of vehicles and trailers
Required Skills and Experience for the Welder/Fabricator:
– Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator, specifically working on trailers
– Strong understanding of welding techniques and materials used in trailer fabrication
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
