Location: Tilbury
Salary: Up to £38,000 + bonus + company van & fuel card
Hours: Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Regional Pump Engineer looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy and genuine progression? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working with diesel and submersible pumps across a regional patch.
You’ll play a vital role in keeping equipment operational, supporting customers on-site and ensuring downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. If you enjoy problem-solving, working independently and being trusted to manage your own workload, this Regional Pump Engineer role will suit you perfectly.
The Role
- Service, repair and maintain diesel and submersible pumps, hoses, generators and associated water processing equipment
- Attend customer sites and depots across the region to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Complete accurate service reports and ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal teams
- Support the smooth running and performance of the regional engineering operation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Regional Pump Engineer, with a mechanical qualification or strong time-served background
- Strong working knowledge of pumps, hoses and generators
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Professional, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Flexibility to travel across multiple sites and depots
