Semi-Skilled Workshop Manager

• Operating machinery and tooling in a safe manner adhering to health & safety protocols.

• Working within a team to assist and support colleagues where required.

• There will be a large amount of manual handling involved within this role.

• Follow instructions and guidance from colleagues.

• Maintain high standards, keeping a clean and tidy work area.

• Undertake such other duties as reasonably required.

• Removing parts from vehicles with care in-order to identify salvage or scrap.

Due to expansion we are seeking a semi-skilled person to perform a variety of tasks which will predominantly include the strip down of shunter units for salvage and scrap.

For this role we are looking for an individual whom has some motor/mechanical experience., * Some mechanical experience

• Knowledge and confidence in using hand tools, axle stands, jacks etc in a safe manner

• Forklift licence

• Crane operation experience/licence

• Full Valid UK driving licence, * automotive technician: 1 year (required)
