As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Routine Servicing and Repairs: Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections, and subsequent repairs on Distribution Tractors, Ro-Ro Tractors, and other sea port equipment.

Visual and Operational Checks: Conduct checks to locate worn, dirty, or maladjusted parts.

Technical Inspections: Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective machine parts, components, or systems using a range of test equipment.

Accident Damage Inspections: Undertake thorough inspections of accident-damaged machines and produce accurate reports to facilitate repair processes.

Mobile Technician Duties: Be prepared to work away from home on customer vehicles, with or without workshop facilities being available for use.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join a growing company and work with a variety of heavy goods vehicles., To be successful in this role, you should have:

HGV Experience: Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles.

Technical Expertise: Any previous HGV technician experience will be beneficial.

Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair.(Prefered)
