Job Role: HGV Technician
Location: Manchester
Pay: £41,614 + £1500 joining Bonus
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (42.5 hrs)

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
My client, a well-established company is actively seeing to employ an additional experienced and qualified HGV Technician for their depot in Manchester. You will be working on an internal mixed fleet of commercial vehicles from Mercedes, Iveco and Ford. Excellent internal training with opportunities to increase salary by £2 per hour when modules passed and gained Master Technician status. Annual salary reviews
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties
- Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and specialist commercial vehicles
- Working with industry-leading brands such as Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring roadworthiness
- Working as part of a supportive and experienced team within a well equipped workshop
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Qualifications / experience required
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Hands-on experience working with HGVs or LCVs in a workshop or fleet environment
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance
- IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
