Due to continued growth and investment in their fleet and facilities, they are now looking to recruit skilled HGV Technicians to strengthen their workshop team. The role would involve both workshop and mobile repairs using a company van. The Role – HGV Technician
You will play a key role in maintaining and developing a modern fleet of vehicles and trailers, delivering high-quality technical work across servicing, repairs, diagnostics and modifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance, repair and modification of HGVs and trailers
- Fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving
- Pre-MOT inspections and rectification work
- Ensuring all work meets strict health & safety and compliance standards
- Maintaining high workshop standards and documentation
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated, skilled HGV Technician with a strong technical background and a professional approach to their work. You will have:
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles (tractor units and rigid vehicles)
- Industry-recognised qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in HGV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- HGV Class 1 licence (desirable but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
