HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team in Barnstaple.
Duties of the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
– Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles
– Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
– Carry out technical inspections
– Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
Experience/skills required for the HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter
– Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles
– Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
– Valid driving licence.
– Based in the Barnstaple area
