Role: Commercial Vehicle Valeter
Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £36,400 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm (45 hours per week)

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and hands‑on Commercial Vehicle Valeter to join our team at our Berkeley site in Gloucestershire. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and preparing a range of commercial vehicles within our hire fleet, ensuring they are presented to a high standard and ready for their next customer.
This is a practical, physical, outdoor role, working in all weather conditions and using equipment such as pressure washers and jet washes to keep vehicles clean, presentable and ready for hire. An HGV Class 2 licence is essential for moving vehicles around the site.

Commercial Vehicle Valeter
- Thoroughly wash, clean and valet a range of commercial vehicles, including HGVs, using jet washes, pressure washers and other cleaning equipment.
- Clean vehicle exteriors, including cabs, bodywork, wheels, tyres, chassis and other accessible areas, removing dirt, grime and road deposits.
- Clean vehicle interiors, including cabs, dashboards, windows, floors and upholstery, ensuring vehicles are clean, tidy and ready for the next customer.
- Prepare vehicles for hire and after return, ensuring they meet the company’s presentation and cleanliness standards.
- Carry out basic visual checks and report any visible damage, defects or issues identified during the cleaning process.
- Safely use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, including the vehicle wash area, yard and welfare facilities.
- Assist with moving vehicles around the site when required, ensuring all movements are carried out safely.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining high standards of work and productivity.
What we’re looking for in the Commercial Vehicle Valeter
- An HGV Class 2 licence is essential for moving vehicles around the site.
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting, commercial vehicle cleaning or a similar hands‑on role would be advantageous.
- Experience using jet washes, pressure washers and vehicle cleaning equipment would be beneficial.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and happy undertaking a hands‑on role involving standing, bending and cleaning large vehicles throughout the day.
- A good understanding of health and safety, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
