We’re currently recruiting a Retail Assistant (Part-Time) to support our Bewdley Retail Teams.
Part time | 15 hours per week over 3 days (Tues, Thurs and Sun) | 5 hours per day, between the hours of 09:00am-3:00pm | £12.21 per hour

Main duties and responsibilities
- Deliver high levels of customer service at all times.
- Thank all donors and offer every donor the opportunity to register for Gift Aid on stock or cash donations.
- Support the manager to deliver a well presented, full and clean shop.
- Support the manager in the delivery of in store promotions, events and changes to the shop floor layout to maximise income.
- Support the manager by accurately completing customer transactions on EPOS, end of day processes and banking.
- Support the manager in growing income, offering Lottery tickets for sale, taking part in fundraising initiatives in store and identifying high value/unusual items for eBay.
- Take all reasonable steps to reduce costs and minimise waste.
- To ensure Health & Safety policies/procedures are followed and safe working practices maintained.
- Work with all KEMP staff and volunteers to ensure the shop offers a friendly and welcoming environment to everyone.
- Support the manager with the recruitment, training and supporting volunteers.
- Undertake training and attend meetings as required.
- Fulfil mutually agreed additional duties as are deemed necessary.
- Positively promote and enhance the work of KEMP by communicating with donors and customers.
- Work flexibly across the trading week to support KEMP Retail.
