We are currently looking to recruit Nurses on a bank basis to join our team at an exciting time. As part of our multi professional Day Hospice team you will provide patient-centred care to patients requiring specialist palliative care in a day hospice setting, developing your skills and knowledge to meet the needs of our patient group.

To plan and deliver appropriate care in consultation with the multi professional team. To ensure patients’ views are taken into account when planning care by establishing their care needs and preferences both on admission and continually thereafter, including identifying advance care planning needs.

Keep accurate clinical records in accordance with KEMP’s policy and procedures, and ensuring all data is recorded accurately on the clinical management software system. Perform clinical procedures competently according to KEMP’s policies, procedures and practice; provide nursing and personal care as required.

Excellent communication skills, approachability and generally having a compassionate and supportive nature will be essential. This role is a real opportunity to directly make a significant impact on the quality of the lives of the people we support. Background: Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, KEMP Hospice offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life limiting conditions and bereavement. From symptom control, complementary therapy, relaxation classes, carer support through to spiritual care and bereavement counselling, KEMP aims to support our clients and patient’s individual needs. KEMP services are provided free of charge in the hospice, in the community and in the home.
