The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a mechanically biased engineering focus, working across a range of production and power-generation equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining machinery, responding to breakdowns, supporting production and helping to improve the reliability and efficiency of equipment across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across production and power-generation operations.
- Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and fully operational.
- Maintain and repair a variety of automated machinery, robotics and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Support the reliable operation of machinery used within manufacturing and renewable energy production.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve machinery problems and assist with machine setups.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production colleagues where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, quality and safety.
