We are now seeking a chemical plant Process Operator at Kemira’s Bradford site working on an annualised hours 24/7 365 day shift pattern.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- the safe operation of an automated production plant; following operating procedures and run conditions to produce product to the required quality at the required rate.
- carrying out routine testing, monitoring process parameters (both on automated systems and on the production line) and taking appropriate corrective action as required.
- maintaining housekeeping standards and completing and recording 5S duties.
- contributing to problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- previous manufacturing experience essential; process or chemical manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage.
- basic IT skills essential; experience of Microsoft Office, SAP, and data historian software is desired.
- the ability to be proactive and work well within a team environment, whilst using initiative to ensure the efficient operation of the plant.
- a flexible approach to work to cover shifts and call out on a rota.
- a logical approach to activities and an effective problem solver
