Scientific Lab Project Co-ordinator and Office Support Assistant to join and support the team.

The

Scientific Lab Project Co-ordinator and Office Support Assistant will be highly organised, proactive and adaptable and will help establish and oversee the operational organisation of the business and provide support to the CEO in the development and growth of the organisation.

The Role

This is a broad, hands-on position responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our laboratories and business functions.

As one of the first operational hires, you'll have significant autonomy and the opportunity to build systems, processes and best practices that will grow with the company.

  • The Person
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Business Operations or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience supporting laboratory operations in a biotechnology or life sciences environment preferably within a startup environment.
  • Experience managing procurement and supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of laboratory health & safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business tools.
  • Familiarity with grant-funded research environments.
  • Experience supporting HR onboarding and office management
