KEMIO Consulting is excited to partner with a medium‑sized, well‑established CRO looking for an experienced leader to head up their Project Management and Clinical Operations (ClinOps) team. This strategic role works closely with C‑suite executives and cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Clinical Project Management and Clinical Operations SOPs, templates, and work instructions.
- Recruit, train, and line‑manage Project Managers (PMs) and Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).
- Forecast and allocate resources to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.
- Oversee project handovers from Commercial to Project Management, ensuring clear scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Support business development activities, including proposals, budgets, and bid defenses.
- Manage third‑party vendors for regulatory and operational support.
- Contribute to product development and pricing strategies.
- Participate in leadership meetings, audits, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years in biopharma, CROs, or RWE consultancies with experience in Project Management and Clinical Operations.
- Previous experience working on Immunology, Rare Disease and Oncology studies.
- Expertise in RWE generation and real‑world data applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of PMBOK principles, risk‑based monitoring, and regulatory frameworks (ICH, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
- Current GxP certification.
