Kemi Telford is an independent womenswear brand built on bold clothing, considered design, and pieces that speak before the woman does. Our customers do not dress to blend in. They wear clothes with presence. Pieces that start conversations, hold attention, and make entering a room feel effortless.

We are hiring a Content & Operations Coordinator to bring more structure, consistency, and momentum to the everyday running of Kemi Telford. This is a hands‑on role for someone organised, practical, observant, and willing to get involved in the real work behind a growing fashion brand. You will work closely with the founder across operations, ecommerce, customer service, content, showroom appointments, stock, launches, and general studio tasks. One moment you may be preparing pieces for a showroom appointment, the next, packing an order, updating Shopify, recording off‑camera content, checking a sample, or helping organise a product launch. This is not a role for someone who only wants the glamorous side of fashion. It is for someone who wants to learn how an independent fashion brand really works and help build something meaningful from the inside.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the business across operations, ecommerce, customer service, content, showroom and studio tasks.
  • Keep track of orders, returns, samples, stock, launches, deadlines and follow‑ups.
  • Help create simple systems so important details are not missed.
  • Support Shopify product uploads, product pages, stock updates, images, care notes and basic website updates.
  • Check product pages for accuracy, spelling, sizing, pricing and missing information.
  • Help prepare products before they go live.
  • Respond to customer emails in a warm, clear and polished tone.
  • Support with returns, exchanges, order queries, sizing questions and delivery issues.
  • Keep customer service organised so nothing is missed.
  • Capture simple behind‑the‑scenes content during the working day.
  • Help organise content from shoots, showroom visits, launches and customer moments.
  • Steam garments and make sure pieces are presented beautifully.
  • Keep the showroom, stockroom and product areas tidy and organised.
  • Support with packing, unpacking, sample checks and shoot preparation.
  • Help check stock, samples and deliveries.
  • Flag fabric, fit, stitching, sizing, stock or quality defects early.
  • Support with supplier, courier and freelancer follow‑ups where needed.
  • Communicate clearly, follow instructions properly and use common sense.

This Role Is for You If

  • You are highly organised and naturally bring order to busy environments.
  • You enjoy working in a small business where no two days are exactly the same.
  • You love fashion and understand fabric, fit, styling, presentation and customer experience.
  • You have good taste and can recognise when something feels premium, considered and consistent with the brand.
  • You are practical, hands‑on and not precious about getting stuck in.
  • You can move between packing orders, helping with content, updating Shopify, preparing showroom rails and supporting customers.
  • You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
  • You follow instructions properly while also using your own initiative.
  • You are calm, reliable and able to keep going when things are busy.
  • You notice details other people might miss.
  • You communicate clearly and flag problems early.
  • You can write clearly and respond to customers in a warm, professional tone.
  • You are comfortable using Instagram and can capture simple behind‑the‑camera content.
  • You have experience in fashion, retail, ecommerce, customer service, content, operations or a small creative business.
  • You are happy to learn tools such as Shopify, Canva, Google Drive, spreadsheets, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
  • You are based within easy reach of Sutton, Surrey, and can work from our studio/showroom.
  • You know that every parcel, email, product page and appointment shapes how a customer feels about the brand.
  • You want to grow with the business and become someone the founder can truly rely on.
