Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager
Home: Dual Registered 'Outstanding' Children's Home, Solo placements (Ofsted Regulated)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (or equivalent) + On Call Rota Duties
Salary: From £36,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team in our Two Outstanding Ofsted-regulated Solo placements. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our young people receive the highest standard of care and support.
The Deputy Children's Home Manager will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children and young people.
You will play a key role in motivating, leading, and supervising a compassionate staff team, while ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
- Leadership: Support the Registered Manager in leading and supervising the team.
- Care Planning: Develop and review care plans to meet each young person’s needs.
- Compliance: Maintain high standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Team Support: Support, mentor and develop staff within the home.
- Partnerships: Work with families, schools, and external professionals.
- Administration: Support with rotas, records, reports, and budgets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience in social care and understanding of children's home regulations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills
- Ability to develop care plans and maintain compliance
- Works well with external professionals and agencies
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families is highly desirable
