REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN'S SOLO PLACEMENTS HOMES.
Kelwel Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead two solo children's homes in Ipswich.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, achieving positive outcomes for young people, and maintaining excellent regulatory standards.
Location & Salary
Ipswich, Suffolk
£55,000–£60,000 per annum
The Role
You will have overall responsibility for two solo placements, ensuring each young person receives high-quality, therapeutic, and child‑centred care within a safe and nurturing environment.
You will lead and develop your team, maintain excellent safeguarding standards, and ensure the homes consistently meet and exceed Ofsted expectations.
Essential Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
- Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
