We are keen to recruit a team player who can work across our assurance systems needs. This role's first priority would be to work with the senior members of the assurance team, particularly H&S to help us to develop and implement a system to replace Intelex.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conflict management: The ability to identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups.
- Leadership: The ability to empower and inspire others to deliver successful change initiatives.
- Risk, opportunity, and issue management: The ability to identify and monitor risks (threats and opportunities), to plan and implement responses to those risks, and respond to other issues that affect the change initiative.
- Consolidated planning: The ability to consolidate and document the fundamental components of a change initiative: scope; schedule; resource requirements; budgets; risks; opportunities and issues; and quality requirements.
- Governance arrangements: The ability to establish and maintain governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for governance and delivery of change initiatives and align with organisational practice.
- Clients, stakeholders, and communications management: The ability to manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
- Reviews: The ability to establish and manage reviews at appropriate points, during and after change initiatives, which will inform governance of the change initiatives, by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies, and continuing relevance.
- Change control: The ability to establish protocols to alter the scope of change initiatives, implementing the protocols when necessary, and updating configuration documentation, including contracts to develop, maintain and apply quality management processes for change initiative activities and outputs.
- Budgeting and cost control: The ability to develop and agree budgets for change initiatives, and to control forecast and actual costs against the budget.
Role Specifics
- Position the Assurance Systems team as a CoE for delivery of system enhancements, data analytics, market trends etc.
- Apply Project Management principles to all system implementations and upgrades.
- Main point of contact and liaison to external system providers; leading on implementation of system upgrades and escalation of issues.
- Ensure training and system support is provided to the Assurance team and end-users.
- Contribute to the monthly Board report to keep business leaders informed of Assurance system activity.
- Responsible for data integrity and confidentiality of people data, ensuring relevant governance and audits are in place.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate documentation and project controls are in place for all systems.
- Superuser of primary Assurance systems, PowerBI and related platforms.
- Be a trusted partner to the functional Assurance team members and the business to optimise Assurance systems to meet evolving organisational needs.
- Provide Project Management support to the Assurance Team, as required.

- Complete all mandatory health and safety training, and actively comply with all instructions provided to carry out work safely. Always ask for clarification if unsure about any aspect of safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organised to minimise the risk of accidents or injuries. You are responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
- Be familiar with the local emergency arrangements, including evacuation plans, and act responsibly during emergency situations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Remain mindful of personal wellbeing, including mental and physical health, report any issues that may affect your ability to work safely. Support colleagues and promote a healthy work environment.
- If uncertain about any safety aspects or responsibilities, seek guidance from line management or health and safety representative to ensure that actions taken are in line with company policies.
Requirements
Essential:
- Project Management Qualification (Agile/PRINCE2).
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft office skills.
- Experience in systems implementation and/or administration, configuration, optimisation.
- Demonstrative experience of delivering a project end to end.
- Service delivery led; puts end user needs first.
- An understanding and appreciation of data and how to utilise it for informing business decisions.
- Ability to operate proactively and reactively to changing business need and manage different priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An analytical mindset; confident to challenge, question and reflect to help support business outcomes.
Desirable:
- Experience using PowerBI.
- A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end HSQE and sustainability lifecycle, ideally having previous experience in similar departmental roles.
