We are seeking a motivated Heavy Plant Service Engineer to carry out servicing on a wide range of heavy construction and plant machinery and crushers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently on-site or at customer locations.
About the Role
The Heavy Plant Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy plant machinery, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy plant machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, dumpers, wheeled loaders, crushers and screens.
- Carry out hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical system repairs and replacements.
- Attend breakdowns promptly and complete repairs efficiently to reduce machine downtime.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work completed, parts used, and time taken.
- Provide on-site support and training to customers on the correct use and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all company and customer health and safety policies.
