We have excellent plant engineer vacancies, Mobile, Workshop based and Crushing and Screening.
About the Role
These roles will require you to proactively undertake the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of machinery within a geographical area (hydraulic excavators, articulated haulers, wheeled loaders, dozers, rollers, crushers, and screens etc). We are looking for driven and enthusiastic individuals to join our established team to meet the following criteria.
Responsibilities:
- NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or equivalent
- Product knowledge on Cat, Volvo, Finlay, Gipo, Metso
- Great diagnostic experience, electrical and hydraulic, aftertreatment
- Able to use manufacturers diagnostic equipment (Cat ET, Volvo Tech Tool)
- IT literate
- Great attitude to H & S
- Able to complete detailed risk assessments and method statements
- Mentor junior engineers and apprentices
- Communicate with manager of onsite requirements and breakdowns
- Compile required parts lists using manufacturers platforms (Cat SIS, Volvo Prosis)
- Take lead in complex multi engineer tasks
- Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team
- Quarry experience
- Team player
- Great communication skills
Qualifications:
Desirable: Slinger/signaller, MEWP, Confined Space Training
Pay range and compensation package:
Fantastic Salary from £18 - 25 per hour depending on Skills and Experience.
