POWDER COATING OPERATIVE in Willenhall

We have a great POWDER COATING OPERATIVE opportunity which will see you join the team of a well established BILSTON based powder coater.

• Core Hours : 40 hrs Mon to Fri
• Shift : EITHER perm days or perm nights
• Overtime : 10 to 15 hrs per week available at flat rate
• Starting Rate : £12.21 / hr paid weekly

Note: This is a permanent, full time job employed directly by the company from day one !

Responsibilities

• Machine operation and basic everyday maintenance
• Loading the overhead track
• Powder handling
• Degreasing and pretreatment of parts
• Packing finished product off the line
• Clean down of equipment and house keeping
• Adhering to safe working practices & health & safety requirements

Qualifications

• Working on powder coating lines is ideally required
• Experience of wet / paint spraying or metal treatment may also be considered
• A sound understanding of shop floor health & safety & safe working practices
• Able and willing to work in a manufacturing and yard environment requiring some moderate manual handling
• Powder spraying experience will be viewed favourably and lead to progression
• Already living within commutable distance of Bilston with current “right to work” in the UK

This position will ideally suit an experienced, hands-on Powder Coater looking for job security.
