This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on POWDER COATING SUPERVISOR to join the team of a BILSTON based powder coating business.

Core hours : Mon to Fri, 7pm to 4am plus overtime working on a permanent NIGHT SHIFT.
Basic Salary : Entirely dependent on experience and discussed at interview but anticipated circa Β£29,000- Β£33,000. Reviewed after 3 months.
Overtime : Plenty β this position attracts upwards of Β£15,000 pa overtime with the future potential for some small degree of flexibility in working pattern to suit the encumbant.
As the POWDER COATING SUPERVISOR duties & responsibilities will include:
* Manage a team of 12 within a busy production environment.
* Ensure efficient machine & staff utilisation to achieve the production plan
* Maintaining Production volumes & product quality
* Promote safe working practices & observing Health & safety requirements
* Escalating disciplinary issues in the unlikely of such on shift
The successful POWDER COATING SUPERVISOR will be able to demonstrate that they have:
* Previous experience in a powder coating, paint spraying or metal finishing environment.
* Supervised or led teams within a production environment
* Successfully maintained shop floor moral and productivity
* A sound understanding of shop floor health & safety & safe working practices
