We have a position for an experienced LUMSDEN GRINDER to join the shopfloor team of an expanding steel processing business based in the Kingswinford area of DUDLEY. Working Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 3.00pm. Starting rate will depend entirely on skills and experience and will be discussed at interview however we anticipate something in the region of £14-16 / hr As a LUMSDEN GRINDER you will be involved in: * Setting and operating Lumsden Grinding machines * Basic maintenance and upkeep * Moving raw materials and finished product around the production environment * Driving fork lift trucks and overhead cranes * Preparing product for despatch * General production and housekeeping activities A suitable candidate for this LUMSDEN GRINDER position will have the following skills and experience: * Setup up and operation of Lumsden Grinders is essential * Fork lift truck or overhead crane experience desirable; training given * Fit and able to undertake moderately physical work * Any additional steel processing or machining skills would be advantageous as would previous experience of CAD or CNC programming on a basic level. NOTE : This is a full time permanent position employed directly by the company and NOT and agency or temporary contract.
