We are working with a major international defence contractor and require an Electrical Engineer ideally with Manufacturing or Design experience to start ASAP.

Location: Yeovil

Site: full time, possible hybrid after 1 month completion on site

Pay: Negotiable Hourly rate PAYE

Anticipated Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

This role is within manufacturing engineering within the Production area. Specific product or processes to deliver the Technical support, Manufacturing work instructions, technical documentation and Tooling to support the manufacturing process, develop improvements initiatives to enable production of world class products. Plan continuous assembly sequences and processes in order to achieve the build standard, product quality, budget hours and delivery schedule (QCD) as defined by Programme Management. Improve product manufacturing process and setting high standards. You will be responsible for implementing electrical components into devices, design and manufacture electrical products of all shapes and sizes. Able to make quality assurance checks in order to keep the product standard high.

Qualifications

  • Proven Electrical Engineering Experience in a similar Manufacturing and/or Design environment
  • SC Clearance will be required
