The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

My client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Calibration & Maintenance Team. The main aspects of the role are supporting operations team’s activities day to day and conducting repairs on process equipment and environmental stress screening facilities using drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, user manuals, etc. You will need to have a good understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum qualification : HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Expertise in fault diagnosis down to the component level.
  • Proficient in using instructions, manuals, drawings, and specifications to offer technical advice and guidance.
  • Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Capable of conducting precise measurements down to the component level using provided information.
  • Experience working with manufacturing process equipment, with a preference for CCA manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with vibration shakers and environmental chambers is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues, tasks, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff when requested by the line manager.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance is essential.
  • Suitable for candidates with conveyor belt maintenance experience from various industries such as Food, Retail, Pharma, Automotive, Cosmetics, Agriculture, etc.
  • Support operators in performing preventative maintenance tasks on process equipment.
  • Perform reactive maintenance down to the component level on electronic manufacturing machinery.
  • Provide support for daily operations, including faults in extraction units, motors, electrical safety testing, and electrical panels.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop maintenance schedules and protocols.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment through regular safety inspections.
