Your new company:
Kelly Services are recruiting for a Production Operative with a Counterbalance FLT license to work for an International Buildings Material Company customer based near Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Our customer has years of experience supplying products to the Construction Industry.
Your new job:
Reporting into the Site Manager, the successful Operative will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, including receiving raw materials, storage, production, despatch, and housekeeping.
The role will include:
- General operations of production machinery
- Stacking, loading and unloading of pallets
- Using a FLT to transport the pallets around
- General site maintenance, recycling of product and improvements around site
Key Features and Responsibilities:
- Meeting daily production target requirements
- Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
- Use of Fork Lift Truck – Counterbalance license
- Ability to work to high level of Health and Safety standards
- Be aware of our Drugs and Alcohol policy
- Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods
Skills you need to succeed:
- Previous Ground works / Civils or Building knowledge
- Manufacturing knowledge
- Possess good communication skills and be numerate
- FLT driving experience would be an advantage
- Self-driven & open to a diverse workload
