Role
Our Privacy Risk and Compliance Analyst is accountable for:
- Conducting privacy and AI risk assessments to identify risks, evaluate AI tools, ensure compliance with applicable legislation, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring and implementing compliance with current and emerging privacy and AI regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, FERPA, HIPAA, UK GDPR, EU AI Act, and Colorado AI Act.
- Reviewing privacy contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with organizational standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Managing data subject requests, privacy inquiries, AI transparency/explainability requests, and privacy complaints efficiently and accurately.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and training materials to enhance organizational awareness and compliance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to embed privacy and AI governance into strategic initiatives and product development, promoting a culture of privacy by design.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experiences
- At least 2 years of experience in privacy, data protection, AI governance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international privacy and AI laws, regulations, and frameworks.
- Ability to synthesize complex legal and regulatory information into practical business guidance.
- Excellent oral and written communication, time management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, data protection tools, and emerging AI technologies; advanced Excel skills or technical AI expertise are a plus, though a strong interest in developing these skills is also valued.
Candidates must be available to work full-time during Eastern Time Zone (U.S. EST) business hours.
