Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for Trainee & Experienced Civils & Cabling Crews to work on our Virgin Media contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending customer premises to introduce Virgin Media services, to pull cables through underground network from Virgin Media cabinets to customers properties
  • Liaising with customers to discuss all routing through their gardens before commencing activity.
  • Potential to upskill to Fibre network both underground and overhead {PIA} as part of Virgin Media expansion works.
  • Potential to grow into qualified Construction operatives repairing the existing VM network { Fully expensed training and accreditation given to those who have the right attributes.
  • Working in the UG network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation with opportunity to work on the overhead PIA network delivering 100% satisfaction to our customers.

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Competent in the use of mechanical Civils equipment
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
  • Previous Telecoms experience
  • Experience within a hands on trade
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be motivated and be able to work independently as well be a team player.
  • Be comfortable and willing to work at heights when required.
  • Be comfortable and willing to work underground when required
