What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Diagnosing and repairing copper and fibre faults on the Openreach network at customer premises
  • Working within frames and exchanges to install new services and resolve faults
  • Carrying out work at height and within underground infrastructure
  • Testing at multiple points across the network to accurately locate faults
  • Delivering a high standard of service independently and as part of a team
  • Meeting performance targets and service KPIs
  • Always following all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a repair role on the Openreach network, including exchange work
  • Strong knowledge of copper and fibre fault diagnostics and repair
  • A safety‑first approach in all environments
  • Confidence working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience using smart devices and digital job systems
  • Strong organisation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Confidence working at heights of up to 15 metres
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A full UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, max 6 points)
