Our client, a professional property management company is looking for a Tenant Services Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This varied, interesting and “hands-on” role would suit an experienced Residential Lettings Agent who is looking for something a little different. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be highly organised and have a confident customer focussed nature.
Working closely with the Property Managers, the Tenant Services Manager role involves dealing with the day-to-day property management of residential tenanted portfolios and liaising with Client Landlords, Tenants and Contractors. You will ensure that all activities carried out are in accordance with the service level agreements and industry best practice. This role combines private property management, corporate private rental management and social housing. Providing excellent customer service to all parties is the priority with this role.
Duties for the Tenant Services Manager will include:
- Instructing essential works and compliance testing to meet legislative certification requirements
- Arranging repairs, maintenance and refurbishments
- Monitoring and overseeing contractors and on-site works
- Carrying out internal mid-term inspections
- Ensuring the properties meet compliance and Health & Safety standards
- Recording and reporting on all compliance and maintenance issues
- Working to budgets
- Monitoring lettings performance and voids
- Recording and reporting all financial matters
You will need:
- Previous experience in residential property management / lettings
- Experience in dealing with social housing would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- ARLA, NFOPP or other relevant industry qualifications would be a distinct advantage as would previous experience with FIXLO, MRI, DATASTATION or other property management systems
In return for your hard work, our client is offering a competitive salary, 25 days holiday which rises with service, on-going training and support and lots more benefits are on offer when you have passed your probation. The working hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is required.
