Block Property Management is a varied and interesting career where you will be responsible for the delivery of management services to a portfolio of residential and mixed-use buildings and estates across Essex. As Block Property Manager you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out property inspections and arranging maintenance: Inspections and Reports
- Overseeing finance: Budgets and Client Accounts
- Overseeing Insurance: Building, Directors and Officers insurance
- Attending meetings: EGMs, AGMs, Directors’ and Residents’ meetings
- All related correspondence and administration
- Dealing with breaches of the Lease
- Liaising with Contractors
- Property Sales (Assignment of the Lease)
- Dealing with enquiries and complaints
You will need:
- A good knowledge of the letting of leasehold properties.
- Strong problem-solving and communication/relationship building skills.
- A professional, driven and confident approach.
- To be highly organised, flexible and self-motivated.
- To be a car owner/driver due to the travelling involved with this role.
- Previous experience in a similar leasehold block property management role is a distinct advantage.
- The ATPI, MTPI or AIRPM qualification would also be a distinct advantage.
In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £35,000-£40,000pa + car allowance, 25 days holiday which rises with service, on-going training and support and lots more benefits are on offer when you have passed your probation. The working hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is required. If you have the relevant skills and experience for this role, we would like to hear from you.
