Are you an aspiring Block Property Manager? Do you have a very good understanding of the letting of leasehold flats and worked in a role involving this? Do you live in Essex and have the desire to be out and about in your car rather than being stuck behind a desk Monday to Friday? Block Property Management is a varied and interesting career where you will be responsible for the delivery of management services to a portfolio of residential and mixed-use buildings and estates across Essex. As Block Property Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out property inspections and arranging maintenance: Inspections and Reports
  • Overseeing finance: Budgets and Client Accounts
  • Overseeing Insurance: Building, Directors and Officers insurance
  • Attending meetings: EGMs, AGMs, Directors’ and Residents’ meetings
  • All related correspondence and administration
  • Dealing with breaches of the Lease
  • Liaising with Contractors
  • Property Sales (Assignment of the Lease)
  • Dealing with enquiries and complaints

You will need:

  • A good knowledge of the letting of leasehold properties.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication/relationship building skills.
  • A professional, driven and confident approach.
  • To be highly organised, flexible and self-motivated.
  • To be a car owner/driver due to the travelling involved with this role.
  • Previous experience in a similar leasehold block property management role is a distinct advantage.
  • The ATPI, MTPI or AIRPM qualification would also be a distinct advantage.

In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £35,000-£40,000pa + car allowance, 25 days holiday which rises with service, on-going training and support and lots more benefits are on offer when you have passed your probation. The working hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is required. If you have the relevant skills and experience for this role, we would like to hear from you.
