Our client, based in Basildon is looking for a Contracts Logistics Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will have superb communication and people skills, have previous warehouse experience and be IT literate with a strong eye for detail.
We are looking for a customer focussed, reliable, flexible and pro-active individual with experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience of using Cargo Wise would be a distinct advantage.
Your daily duties will involve: - Supporting the day-to-day operational requirements of Contract Logistics customers, including goods receipts, order processing, picking, packing and dispatch activities across both Basildon based Warehouses.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and liaising with customers verbally and via email.
Proactively communicating with customers regarding returns, stock requirements and operational issues.
Wiping, cleaning, preparation and storage of all equipment being returned to the warehouse.
Logging returns and putting away once completed Providing daily reporting updates to the customer by updating their systems with data and completed tasks in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
