Overview
Health Care Assistant – Stanley (DH9, NE16). Work available in the following villages within Stanley: Annfield Plain, Burnhope, Burnopfield, Catchgate, Craghead, Dipton, Flint Hill, Greencroft, Hobson, Lanchester, Maiden Law, New Kyo, Stanley Central, South, East, South Moor, Shield Row, Tanfield, Tantobie.
Kelly Park Limited is a family‑run business founded in August 1994. We are Durham County Council\’s preferred provider and have secured a 6‑year contract with the local authority to provide domiciliary home care support to vulnerable adults and children across the county. We work in partnership with Skills for Care and Durham County Council\’s Care Academy to continuously improve and develop the skills of our staff, ensuring we can meet the changing needs of our service users. We aim to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to our service users, helping them enjoy the best quality of life in their own homes while promoting independence, and respecting privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities
- Promote independence, caring for our service users in their own homes.
- Encourage service users to be actively involved in all aspects of their day‑to‑day care.
- Accompany service users to appointments and help them access their local community.
- Prepare meals and snacks to support the service user’s nutritional needs.
- Tidy service users’ homes and assist with basic domestic tasks to maintain an enjoyable living space.
- Assist with personal care tasks, from bathing to pad changes and incontinence care.

Location
Location can be close to you to minimise commuting; we will provide clients as near to you as possible.
