Kelly Group is growing and we’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our Civils & Cabling teams on our Virgin Media contract. This is a hands-on, physical outdoor role. It’s ideal for people who enjoy practical work, working outside, and being part of a team. No telecoms experience needed — full training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Installing Virgin Media services at customer properties
- Pulling cables through underground ducting from cabinets to homes
- Working in gardens, driveways, footpaths, and access chambers
- Speaking with customers about cable routes before starting work
- Using hand tools and mechanical civils equipment
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Working underground and, as you progress, at heights on overhead fibre (PIA)
- Following strict Health & Safety procedures at all times
Important: This is a physically demanding job involving lifting, digging, bending, and being on your feet for most of the day.
Training & progression
- Full training provided for trainees

What we’re looking for
- Full UK driving licence (12+ months, max 6 points)
- Comfortable with manual labour and physical work
- Willing to work outdoors, underground, and at heights
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- Telecoms, civils, or trade experience is a bonus (not essential)
- Good customer communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, and a team player
