We're looking for an Agricultural Consultant with strong experience in SFI and Capital Grants to join our independent consultancy, supporting farming businesses across the South West. The role will initially focus on grant and scheme work, before developing into a broader farm business consultancy position over time. You'll be working directly with clients from day one — managing applications, advising on scheme options, and supporting wider business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing SFI applications
- Preparing Capital Grant applications and claims
- Advising clients on scheme eligibility and options
- Farm business analysis and reporting
- Client meetings and on-farm visits
- General agricultural consultancy support
Requirements
- Proven experience with SFI and Capital Grants
- Strong understanding of UK agricultural policy and support schemes
- Good communication and client facing skills
- Strong organisational and administrative ability
- Practical understanding of farming systems
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Location & Working Arrangements
- Office base: Aust, Bristol
- Home working available where appropriate
- Regular travel across the South West
- Part time applications considered
Package
- Salary from £42,000 (depending on experience)
