Kelly Rail are looking for PTS Electricians to join our friendly team.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Role Responsibilities

  • Commitment and full awareness of the lifesaving rules and Kelly Rail UK Values: Safety, Integrity, Delivery, Excellence, Customer and Teamwork.
  • Ensuring all staff are fully aware of the lifesaving rules and Kelly Rail UK Values.
  • Timekeeping and management of staff to ensure works commence as per scheduled.
  • Ensure all site staff have appropriate personal protective equipment and are wearing it at all times when on duty.

Qualifications

  • 18th Edition
  • C&G 2391 Test & Inspection
  • ECS Electrician – minimum requirement
  • ECS Installation Electrician – dependent on role
  • ECS Electrical Manager – dependent on role
  • PTS
  • NR Medical
